business branding

Before committing to our services, we kindly request that you review our terms of engagement for a clear understanding of our mutual expectations and obligations.

  • Marketing a professional services business is quite different from other industries. As knowledge professionals, there is a requirement to create thought leadership and educational content regularly to inform as well as engage your audience. This requires some additional care and planning. The starting point is a workshop with key stakeholders to clearly understand your position in the market, document goals and create a plan to accurately represent your team for minimum risk, whilst still creating new opportunities to e-ttract staff, clients and partners.

    • Once the workshop has provided a consensus on the scope of activity, several processes need to be completed to prepare for the content marketing before releasing it to the market. This includes doing a digital audit of all key parts of the content process, including websites, social media profiles (both individual and company-owned) and content already created.

    • A structured plan can then be created with key messages and style of content, which will involve interviews with each key stakeholder on their part in the process.

    • Once the overall plan is completed and signed off, the production process can begin with official approval procedures in place and scrutiny of the reaction to launched content. It is critical that enough time is spent in the planning process to ensure we are set up for success over the long term. Great brands are built slowly and consistently.

  • Once the six month set up process has been completed and the content is being well received by the market, often clients will want to continue the process with a retainer in place to ensure consistent and quality production. The scope of this work is individual customised to each client and will be discussed with you once you have completed the content onboarding process.

6-Month Timeline

  • During the first month, we'll facilitate a comprehensive onboarding process to seamlessly integrate you into our internal systems. This includes setting up weekly meetings, a dedicated Google drive folder for your project, a Notion page for project management, introducing you to our team, booking workshop sessions, and securely exchanging necessary passwords and credentials.

  • Understanding yourself is key to building a successful brand. Many successful people haven't invested the time to be introspective as they were too busy with family, work and life. This can hinder their ability to clearly articulate who they are, how they want to be perceived and what their business offering will be. We create the space and opportunity to delve into your values, personality, lifestage and resources, with our robust 4-step e-ttraction method.

  • Once you have a clear understanding of how you'd like your brand to be perceived, we'll build your brand in a digital ecosystem. This can include creating websites, SEO, social media, and email marketing so you can communicate your message to your target audience. This process spans over two months, as crafting these assets requires time and precision. We prefer to initiate content creation during this phase to ensure we are consistently a month ahead in our strategies.

We find that service professionals often don't have time to write, so we have created alternative content production methods better suited to your busy lifestyle. This can come in two main forms: audio or video. In month 4, we explore these options as part of the creative process, while maintaining regular written content.

Creating the audio and/or video content requires production, equipment, and guest interaction. We guide and assist you in this process. Each business is slightly different, and we tailor your content to suit your needs.

  • Once the key e-ttraction steps are completed, the leveraging processes is designed to build your brand message with your audience over time. Our recommendations may include weekly thought leadership content, which will begin as written blogs and posts.

Building a platform to share your message with your target audience is the start of the e-ttraction process, but without regular activity, it’s challenging to achieve your desired results. The process starts with a crisp pitch that engages your audience to want to hear more. Regular digital content such as blogs and adding these connections to your database is essential for long-term success. Finally, being able to convert an opportunity is the ultimate step in building a successful business.

  • After launching your new content to your audience, it is important to review your statistics and reactions. We diligently monitor your content and make appropriate adjustments to ensure your success.

After we have been working on the current marketing plan for 6-months an in-depth strategy session where we create a fresh action plan tailored to your evolving needs occurs.

FAQ

  • While our team at Social Star is dedicated to guiding you through the personal branding process, it's essential for you to actively participate to ensure authenticity. We provide assistance, valuable information, and even help with content creation such as blog posts. However, your input is crucial to maintain the authenticity of your brand. • While executives like Andrew, Tish, and Adam are integral members of our team, they join meetings primarily when strategic input is required. Your account manager will coordinate these sessions based on your needs. Additionally, you will frequently hear from Andrew through the videos he has produced for the course, ensuring you receive valuable insights and guidance throughout your journey with us. So, while you may not interact with them in every meeting, their expertise and support are always accessible when needed.

  • You will have weekly meetings with your dedicated account manager via Google Meet, ensuring regular communication and progress updates. Additionally, you can expect frequent email correspondence for ongoing support and guidance.

  • Creative credits are a unique feature of our service, offering flexibility and customisation in your branding journey. With content retainer clients receiving 8 credits per month, our general methodology encompasses 2 social media posts, 1 blog post, and 1 video—perfectly equating to 8 credits. Should you desire additional work beyond this scope, you can utilise credits from other months or purchase additional credits.
