Before committing to our services, we kindly request that you review our terms of engagement for a clear understanding of our mutual expectations and obligations.

Imagine having a skilled marketing professional seamlessly integrated into your team, working on-site to elevate your marketing efforts. That's precisely what our Personal Placement service offers. Unlike traditional in-house hiring, where you're limited to the skills and experience of one individual, our Personal Placement service provides you with access to a team of experienced marketers.

With our Personal Placement service, you'll have a dedicated marketing expert working directly within your company, backed by the collective knowledge and expertise of the entire team the entire Social Star team. This means you're not just paying for the price of one individual – you're gaining access to a wealth of resources, ideas, and strategies to propel your marketing initiatives forward.

  • We strongly encourage participating in one of our workshops before diving into our services. These workshops serve as an insightful introduction to our methodologies and strategies, ensuring that you're well-prepared for the journey ahead. The workshop allows us to create a marketing plan which can be referred back to constantly.

  • With our one-month setup process, we take the time to understand your business inside and out. Collect your digital assets and audit what is missing and needs to be produced to meet your goals. This allows us to craft a personalised marketing and action plan tailored specifically to your needs. From identifying target audiences to mapping out key strategies, we've got you covered every step of the way.

  • Our placement program allows you to have a dedicated team member from our company spend 1-3 days a week in your office. Depending on the amount of days they're with you, you'll receive Creative Credits to ensure you have the creative assets you need to succeed.

  • Our commitment to your success doesn't end after the workshop or placement. With our ongoing retainer package, you'll benefit from regular check-ins and strategy sessions. Every six months, we'll conduct comprehensive reviews to ensure we're on track with your goals. Plus, with 30-minute monthly meetings and a dedicated staff buddy as backup support, you can rest assured that your needs are always our top priority.

FAQ

For clients employing our team to do onsite work, this FAQ will answer your most common questions.

  • Social Star is the staff member's employer and will pay them and will take care of superannuation and associated employment conditions.

  • If you have any issues with your staff member, have a chat to them and please let us know so we can assist. We will work with you and them to improve the situation in a fair and reasonable way. If it's not working out at all, we will replace the staff member as required at no cost to you.

  • We will do our best to give you as much notice as possible and provide you with another staff member to fulfil their duties. In the case of a sudden departure, one of our team leaders may step in to manage the work until a new staff member can be onboarded.

  • This is at the discretion of your organisation. If you prefer to have the staff member in your office most of the time, please specify this in early discussions so we can factor travel into the selection process. That said, the staff member can work from our Collingwood office too, so you do not necessarily need to provide an office space/desk for them. Furthermore, we would prefer to offer a flexible work situation where the staff member can work from our office at least one day a week. This will allow them to seek training, mentorship, feedback and support for projects they are working on. An opportunity to work from home is also recommended. Let's be flexible and do what makes sense for everyone.

  • No. Our junior staff members are in training and will have to seek assistance on some projects. Please understand that they are not experts at everything, they are learning. On the other hand, senior staff members will have stronger knowledge and more experience. Please inquire for more details about staff members' level of knowledge and autonomy.

  • Yes, as a Social Star staff member, it is our responsibility to mentor and train them over time to manage your projects and improve their overall knowledge. There is no additional cost for this as this is included in our fee structure.

  • The specific days and hours will be specified in advance but our staff members generally work Mondays to Fridays during regular business hours of 9am to 5pm unless otherwise specified. A full day of work is 7.5 hours excluding a half-hour lunch break.

  • Staff members do require tools to do their jobs but they will likely bring their own phone and laptop. If you have speciality systems, you will have to prepare access or the tools for them.

  • Yes, staff members will take leave from time to time. Staff members on permanent employment contracts have 4 weeks of annual leave, 10 days of personal leave and one 'birthday day off' per year. Our team will cover any urgent work whilst the staff member is unable to work. The reasonable test will be on what is urgent and what can wait for the staff member to return.

  • Preferably not. They are part of our Social Star team and wider community and are still in training. However, if it is in their best interests to join your team, we can make this work after a period of employment and for a small exit fee. Please refer to our terms and conditions for further information.
